Giving Back: Win Big This 4th of July!

Here at Bel Furniture, we love giving back to the community. In fact, one thing specifically that we do is a lot of charity work with the USO branch here in Houston.

It’s not just charity work though, we’re always looking at ways to give back to our customers by hosting contests and promoting events. Recently we had a Texas-sized throw-down for our new store’s grand-opening in Clute, TX, but the event that we enjoyed the most was our recent Memorial Day Photo Contest. 

Working with USO Houston to promote the contest, we took entries from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.  Contestants uploaded pictures of their military hero, and family and friends voted on their favorites.  

The entrant with the most votes at the end of the contest period won! The contest was so popular and voting was so close among the top three that we couldn’t choose who should win, so we gave away THREE prizes. It made us so happy to give back not only to the community at large, but also to focus on military families.  

The Memorial Day Photo Contest might be over, but we’re so excited about this new opportunity!  While the Memorial Day contest was open to anyone who had ties to the military, it was most popular with those actively serving, and many eligible people chose not to enter because of that.  Because of this, we wanted to promote another contest that everyone could enter, so we’re running a contest for all of our fans. You can enter to win right now!  

Here’s how you could win: head over to our Facebook page, and “like” us if you haven’t already. You should then see a tab on the page where you can directly enter the contest. Click that, and you’ll be taken to the contest entry form. Upload a patriotic photo—just make sure you’re in the picture—into your contest entry. Then have your friends like our page and vote for your photo. The photo with the most votes wins! Hurry! The 4^th of July contest ends July 7^th!
